BJYS series wind turbine pitch motors are dedicated 3-phase asynchronous inverter-duty motors designed for blade pitch systems. With a simple and robust structure, these motors offer high operational reliability, long service life, and virtually maintenance-free operation, making them well-suited for continuous use in modern wind farms.
The BJYS series delivers high starting torque and strong overload capability to handle frequent start–stop cycles and emergency pitch events. Fast dynamic response and smooth running characteristics help ensure accurate blade pitch adjustment under rapidly changing wind conditions, reducing mechanical stress on the pitch gearbox and hub. The motors are engineered with enhanced resistance to impact and shock loads, allowing them to operate stably in turbulent wind and grid disturbance scenarios.
BJYS motors are optimized for cold-climate performance with excellent low-temperature capability, ensuring reliable starting and operation in harsh environments. Standard designs provide protection class up to IP54 or IP65 and F-class insulation for use in dusty, humid, and coastal wind farms. The motors adopt B5 flange mounting and IC416 forced-ventilation cooling, and are suitable for ambient conditions of altitude 0–2000 m, operating temperature from −35°C to +55 °C, and relative humidity from 5% to 95%.
Multiple types of brakes can be supplied according to customer requirements, and incremental encoders with absolute value functions are available for precise speed and position feedback to the pitch control system. Each BJYS pitch motor is manufactured under strict quality control and tested for electrical performance, insulation strength, and mechanical reliability.
