Description

The B190SYF series wind turbine pitch motors are permanent magnet DC motors specifically designed for blade pitch systems. Compared to traditional DC series-wound pitch motors, the B190SYF series offers a more compact size, simpler construction, and higher efficiency, while still providing the high starting torque and strong overload capability required by modern wind turbines. Linear speed regulation and high positioning accuracy help ensure safe, precise blade angle control under rapidly changing wind conditions.

The motors feature excellent running characteristics with fast dynamic response and smooth operation, even during frequent start–stop cycles and emergency pitch events. Proven low-temperature performance and strong cold-climate tolerance make the B190SYF series suitable for harsh onshore and offshore wind farms where ice, snow, and low ambient temperatures are common.

Standard designs provide IP54 protection, F-class insulation, B5 flange mounting, and IC416 forced-ventilation cooling. The motors are designed to operate reliably at altitudes from 0–2000 m, ambient temperatures from −35°C to +55 °C, and relative humidity from 5% to 95%. A wide range of brakes, incremental encoders, and combined incremental/absolute encoders can be configured to match different pitch control systems and safety concepts.
